With loud exhausts constantly being a headache, we came out with a fix. A 2-3/4″ universal silencer that will fit 3″ OD exhaust tubing. Just drill a mounting hole and bolt it right in. If the silencer is on a radius part of the bend, cut the tail shorter to fit your needs. We have tested this with a Db meter it lowering up to 6.2 Db at 3200 rpm on rear mounted exhaust. We have tried many different set ups with multiple silencers inline, before/after mufflers and resonators – we found that one at the very tip is the best bang for the buck. Any more silencers lowers it only 1 Db or so. Every exhaust is different but this is a must for us and our customer builds.
Made out of a combination of 16 gauge and 18 gauge 304 stainless steel.
